At Bitso, we work to ensure your money never stops moving and keeps pace with technological innovation. Our mission is to provide you with the necessary tools to explore the digital asset ecosystem with clarity and security.

Today, we are adding five new assets to our platform: ZEC, DASH, BREV, and AIXBT. These projects range from advanced cryptography for privacy to artificial intelligence applied to market analysis.

Below, we explain what each one is and how their protocols work.

Meet the new members

ZEC

ZEC is the native crypto of Zcash, a protocol focused on privacy that utilizes advanced zero-knowledge proofs (zk-SNARKs).

  • How it works: Its technology allows for fully encrypted transactions without compromising the transparency or security of the blockchain. It was the first crypto protocol to implement zero-knowledge proofs for private peer-to-peer (P2P) payments. It offers users the flexibility to choose between transparent (public) or shielded (private) transactions. It provides optional financial privacy without sacrificing verifiability. I
  • Token utility: It has a fixed supply of 21 million units and a monetary model similar to Bitcoin, which means it functions as a medium of exchange and a store of value. It is also used to pay for transaction fees on the network.

DASH

DASH is the native crypto of the Dash network, an open-source blockchain that offers a global, fast, and decentralized payment system.

  • How it works: Launched in 2014 using Bitcoin’s code as a base, Dash optimizes Bitcoin’s architecture to offer faster transactions. It operates with a two-tier network (regular nodes and masternodes) that facilitates advanced functions such as InstantSend (instant payments), CoinJoin (optional privacy), and ChainLocks (instant blockchain immutability).
  • Token utility: It is designed to be used as digital money for everyday payments and international remittances. It is an accessible medium of exchange with near-zero fees and blocks generated every 2.5 minutes.

BREV

BREV is the native utility and governance token of Brevis, a verifiable computing platform that enables complex off-chain computations to be verified on-chain using zero-knowledge proofs (ZK).

  • How it works: Brevis acts as a co-processor that allows smart contracts to trustlessly access historical data from multiple blockchains. Through its decentralized Brevis ProverNet, the network coordinates a marketplace where provers compete to generate zero-knowledge proofs. Brevis enables scalable use cases in DeFi, active liquidity management, and data-driven reward systems.
  • Token utility: Used to pay for proof generation, staking, and governance.

AIXBT

AIXBT is the token of the real-time market intelligence platform of the same name, powered by AI.

  • How it works: The platform analyzes social signals, on-chain data, and other sources to detect emerging trends before they reach mainstream recognition.
  • Token utility: Holding the token grants access to premium features and resources that help traders stay ahead of crypto market trends.
  • Networks: Base, Ethereum, and Solana.

How to trade these tokens on Bitso

Bitso offers access to these assets under the Limited Operations category. This framework allows us to integrate new technologies quickly while maintaining high security standards.

What should you consider?

  • You can buy and sell these tokens directly through your Bitso account.
  • They are available to be sent or received instantly via Bitso Transfer.
  • For the moment, direct deposits or withdrawals via their external networks are not supported.

How to get started

Exploring these new assets is a simple process:

  1. Log in to your account: Open or download the Bitso app.
  2. Add funds: Fund your account with your local currency.
  3. Convert: Go to the Buy/Sell section and choose either “Buy” or “Convert”.  Select the token you are interested in and confirm the operation with zero trading fees for certain assets.

Final considerations

At Bitso, we give you the tools, but you maintain control over your strategy. Before making any move, we recommend performing your own research (DYOR) by visiting each project's official website to understand its full technical vision.
